Not sure if you should use makeup brushes? Well, here’s my answer: You definitely should! You don’t need brushes for everything but for eyeshadows, brushes are a must. Although they may pick up less colour than sponge applicators do, they are wonderful for blending. This is why you almost never see a makeup artist without his/her brush set!

Pick brushes with natual bristles for powder eyeshadow and brushes with synthetic hair for cream eyeshadow. The same applies to concealors. Also, use a brush instead of a puff for loose powder foundation since brushes will pick up less of the product and you won’t end up overloading your face with unnecessary pore-clogging particles and looking too cakey at that.
