This also came with my student package at Make Up For Ever Academy Singapore. Here is a really short review of it.
The 210ml bottle
More about the product:
This is Make Up For Ever’s Purifying Brush Cleanser. The product is dispensed via a spray at the top of the bottle. To use this, simply spray some on a piece of tissue and then brush your brush over the wet part until it is clean.
Ingredient list: Alcohol Denat., Aqua (Water), Isopropyl Alcohol, Ethyl Acetate, Benzophenone-3, Steardimonium Hydroxypropyl Hydrolysed Wheat Protein, Parfum (Fraguance), Mentha Arvensis Oil (Mentha Arvensis Leaf Oil), Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Cl 47000 (Yellow 11) and Cl 42090 (Blue 1).
What I like about the product:
1) It’s great for quick cleansing of brushes, especially when you need to use a brush for different products at the same time.
Neutral feelings about this product’s:
1) Purpose. This brush cleanser can only be used for brushes with real hair. It cannot be used for synthetic brushes, such as those made with nylon.
What I dislike about the product:
1) The cleanser contains alcohol, to which my skin is sensitive. Thus, whenever I use this, I will definitely get some on my face, regardless of whether it’s in the liquid or gaseous (evaporated) form. My face will have an allergic reaction to it but it does not last long.
Other thoughts:
Just like with other quick brush cleansers, this should not be a replacement for proper cleaning of your brushes. To keep your brushes clean and maintain their quality in the long run, the proper way of shampooing should be done.
