Every end of the year, I’ve been told by family members that I turn into a Crabtree & Evelyn ambassador. And why not? I really love their holiday collections, one after the other, and this is especially so since their beautiful packaging is like hot chocolate on a cold winter’s day – I can’t resist it! Here are my top three picks from their recent Holiday 2013 Secret Garden Collection!
The first one is of course the Deluxe Hand Therapy Sampler 1, S$78. There is another sampler set of 6 Hand Therapy tubes going for S$55. This Deluxe one has 12, and is less than twice the price of it. You don’t need to be a math genius to see where I’m going with this. The difference between the Deluxe Hand Therapy Sampler 1 and Deluxe Hand Therapy Sampler 2 is that in the first one there is Wisteria and Evelyn Rose, while in the second, there is Lily and Gardeners. Both sets are great because you can gift the individual Hand Therapy samplers to many friends and family members! You can also keep some for yourself, and this is especially so if you find that you can never finish up a 100g tube but love having different scents fit your mood on different days. I pick the first set because I like the Evelyn Rose fragrance.
Number 2 on the list is the Somerset Meadow Luxury Box, S$98.

I love this scent because of how refreshing it is, and how it reminds me of nature after a deep-cleansing rain. This set contains a full-sized shower gel, full-sized body lotion, 100g Hand Therapy and towel. In fact, during our recent Christmas shopping trip, Mr. Ratatouille and I bought a Somerset Meadow duo for ourselves because we both love the scent so much!
The last item that makes it into my top three is the Mini Biscuits set, S$65.

Christmas shopping at Crabtree & Evelyn means never going away without something to eat. I love this set because you can get 6 different biscuit flavours to gift to 6 different people (at most). Even if it’s a present for yourself, comme même, you’ll get to try all the flavours and then decide which to give others. Alas, who can say no to that lovely design?
