Love at first swatch is real, guys. I swatched the glitter shades of this palette at Sephora and immediately fell in love with the product. I’ve been searching for pressed glitter for the longest time and I’ve finally found it.
I bought the Tarte Winter Wonderglam palette via the Sephora mobile app, and although there seemed to be a hiccup with the address (they didn’t get my complete address somehow), my item arrived at my doorstep safe and sound.
I also bought 2 Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencils in shades Demolition and Sabbath. These crayon eyeliners have been my favourites for YEARS and I haven’t found a good enough substitute yet. That says a lot, to be honest.
Finally, say hello to the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lipstick. I think I’m wearing this to sleep tonight. I mean, the shade name says “pillow” so I’m just putting two and two together here.
‘Fess up: Haven’t you ever worn a lip product to sleep yourself?
QUICK ROUND-UP
Going back to the Tarte Winter Wonderglam palette, I’d say it’s a bang for your buck, especially if you don’t own any Tarte products yet. I like how this palette has wearable neutral shades, dark sombre shades and crazy glitter shades all together.
It also has its own double-ended brush for application and blending, a black eyeliner to complete your look and a mascara for your pretty lashes. The best part is its full-length mirror on the underside of the lid, which makes this palette pretty much an all-in-one for your travels. It is a bit bulky, so it’s definitely not one for the light packer.
I can’t wait to do a holiday look featuring these products, so hopefully I’ll get some time in the coming weeks. For now, enjoy this video!
