If there’s any product out there that I can safely say has changed my life, the Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream would definitely make the cut!

I had seen this brand around in local Guardian stores earlier this year, but seeing that I was trying out another product at the time, I kept it on hold. During my recent trip to Seoul, I saw it at Olive Young on promotion at 9,900 KRW. It was the final day of the promotion, and with the price so much lower than what you’d find in Singapore, I bit the bullet and bought one tube. On hindsight, I should have bought more.

For more context, I don’t use this for my face (but am thinking now that I could actually try doing this). I’ve been having dry skin and eczema issues on my legs for the better part of the last 12 months. My skin would itch really bad, and after I scratch, it would flake and turn red. It became patchy and it spreaded over a larger part of my legs. I visited a dermatologist who had no idea what was causing it, and the creams I tried kept the itch at bay, and did not really solve the dryness issue.

When I was in Seoul, with the drier climate even though it was summer (honestly nothing can compare to Singapore’s year-round humidity), my skin got worse. Fortunately for me, the Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream turned things around for me.

What it did:

  • Repaired my skin’s barrier within weeks. The only cream to have done this, ever.
  • Moisturised my skin.
  • As such, my skin itched way less than before and was no longer red nor bumpy.

What it did not do:

  • Give me any bad reaction.
  • Have any noticeable scent/fragrance.

What else I love about it:

  • Affordable price. When on promotion, I can save a lot.
  • The smaller sized product comes in a squeeze tube, so lessens the chances of contamination upon usage. Also, non-breakable (so it’s great for travelling)!

I did notice the tiny beads of ceramide only after seeing others talk about it. But when applying it myself, and maybe it’s because I’m applying it on my legs instead of my face, I don’t really see or feel them at all.

Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream Back

The product worked so well for me, that I bought another tube before I had to leave Seoul, because the price in Singapore is higher. I would have stocked up more but alas, my poor luggage was already filled with all my other hauls (check out my Beauty of Joseon haul TikTok here). I’m on the fence about getting the lotion version of this range, seeing that the cream is supposed to have a higher concentration of ceramide for the skin anyway. However, the lotion may be a good alternative for a full-body usage.

Do I recommend it? Well, if you have the same skin issues I did, I say you definitely need to give this a try. If you’re not heading to Seoul any time soon, you can get it on Shopee here (official Amore Pacific Shopee Mall store).
