It has always been a dream of mine to create something beautiful and share it with the rest of the world. And when I finally had the inspiration from my recent spate of travels, I thought it was time for me to just get down and do it. After all, life is short they say, so why wait on something you can do today?
I’m so excited to share with you my new semi-precious gemstone jewellery line, TROUVEE.CO. Trouvée.co has been my baby project for the past 1 year and I can’t be happier to finally officially launch it. The current collection is small but each design has been specifically tailored and created to suit the theme of the collection, which was inspired by my trip last year to Ha Long Bay in Vietnam (any Vietnamese here?).
All of Trouvée.co’s pieces are designed by me and inspired by destinations around the world, especially those that I have visited. Because the places that I go to are quite the tourist attractions anyway, I’m sure you would have found yourself, in one way or another, in the same place at a certain time in your life.
Even if you haven’t, someday you will. And what better way to remember these special moments in these special places than with a small piece of jewellery that you can take with you wherever you go from now?
All of the pieces I create contain semi-precious gemstones, their selection of which depends on how each destination has inspired me. My current favourite stone is the blue-toned labradorite, which looks really timeless and gives a sophisticated edge to anyone wearing it, and which reminds one of the beauty of natural rock formations in the world (hello limestones). Labradorite is also known for its healing properties, and can help return happiness and spontaneity into your life. You can read more about it here.

The metal that is used for Trouveée.co’s pieces is made from sterling silver and either plated with rhodium to prevent tarnishing, gold or rose gold. Where drusy stones are concerned, only genuine ones are used so that the shine and glimmer is never lost or scratched away.
These are all pieces that I would wear myself, and would love to gift as presents for any special occasions. I do take the effort to source for stones from around the world that are of the best quality I can find, so nothing is compromised and you’ll find that they last for a long time. Of course, as with any jewellery, avoid the usual swimming or showering with them on.
