Ever had one of those days where you end up crying your eyes out and then going to bed? I’m sure you have. I’m also sure you don’t really like waking up the next day and find you can’t open your eyes like normal.
Hooray for puffy eyes. And yes, that’s me up there with my eyes and face all pouffy – but you can’t tell! It’s because I’ve got makeup on and today I’m going to teach you just how you can use makeup to deal with swollen eyes and face.
The entire list of products is in my video description in YouTube, so do head over there to find out more if you’re interested. My favourite, favourite products from this video are the ARDELL ACCENTS LASHES in #318, the 3CE UNDER EYE FLASH in Lovable (while you’re at it, you should also check out the shade Hazy Mocha, which you can also use for your upper eyelids) and of course my latest lust, the JOUER COSMETICS LONG WEAR LIP CRÈME LIQUID LIPSTICK in Dulce de Leche.
Anyhow, this tutorial isn’t meant for you if you normally have eyebags that never go away. Those are usually hereditary, and only surgery can take them off. If you’re having puffy eyes from crying or water retention, this daytime tutorial would work well for you.
The colours I’ve used are very natural and close to what a healthy complexion would boast. I tend to shy away from heavy contouring and highlighting because really, we don’t need that much work on our faces to look good and feel good. Just something subtle that would make people wonder what you did to your face is good enough for me.
So I hope you’ve found this tutorial useful. If you like what you saw, share this with your friends and family. You can also connect with me on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.
De-swell in style,
