How have you been? I haven’t blogged much but I’ve been constantly updating my Instagram with snaps, photos and more recently, with Stories about my trip in Hong Kong! Although it was only a short trip, I had so much fun watching the games at HKPAT, partying up with the rest of the Ultimate peeps, exploring the city and eating awesome food. While we’re on the topic of food, you *need* to check out Ganso Tsukemen for their cheese sea urchin tsukemen and the Michelin starred Kam’s Roast Goose along Hennessy Road.
The trip ended well, and I had the rest I so badly needed. Plus, spending quality time with Xav was really good too, especially since he’s usually away for work during the week.
I stocked up like crazy at Kiko Milano IFC Mall because we don’t have the brand in Singapore (Hong Kong is the nearest) and their lip glosses and lip sticks don’t give me allergic reactions. But the highlight of makeup shopping has got to be the Tiffany & Co Eau de Parfum (Limited Edition)!
Maybe it’s the blue that I finally gave in to, or maybe it’s the fact that it comes in a limited edition box, or maybe that I really like the scent. Whatever it is, I chose this one over my signature Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, which I was planning to restock as well.
Compared to the Chanel fragrance, this one is almost equally floral (I can’t tell the difference much) but less musky. It’s not too sweet, and would work well for me as my daily work fragrance. It is definitely less sophisticated, more carefree and coy, and frankly speaking I think I need some fun in my life. I wrote a guide on how to find your signature fragrance, and you might like to check it out here before committing to your next scent.
I bought the 75ml one and received a small travel-sized bottle and body lotion as a freebie.
The limited edition fragrance is currently only in Shilla Duty Free stores in South Korea, Hong Kong and Singapore (I got mine at Hong Kong’s Beauty & You) for the month of October, before being released in other locations. Do drop by to check it out when you’re next in transit on your trip!
Do you also have signature fragrances for different occasions in your life? What are they?
Look and feel good,
Roxanne
