I got this Terrybly Shine Hydra-Lift Lip Lacquer by By Terry at Escentials Paragon Singapore a couple of weeks back. At the time, I contemplated between getting a gloss and a blush from By Terry but it was an easy decision to make. The blush cost more than S$100 while the gloss, less than S$80. It’s made from Lumilip Technology, which “combines nutri-regenerating ceramides, hydra-filling hyaluronic acid, collagen-stimulating peptide, plumping ‘Kiss Me Quick’ plant extract and anti-wrinkles correcting prisms.”

The shade I ended up with was 3 Gold Digger (as shown above), a nude and not-so-pink shade. There are other shades, namely 1 Diamond Dream, 2 Honeymoon Kiss, 4 Pink Lover and 5 Wine List. I like this gloss because first of all it doesn’t break me out (I have eczema) and second of all, it is very glossy! The shimmer particles show up with a reddish and golden glint, which is very pretty. I love it that the applicator is a sponge instead of a brush because I find that sponges allow for better control and spreading of gloss products. The gloss has a scent that’s not very nice though.

The gloss can be worn alone or on top of a lipstick of your choice. The shimmer effect is so pretty in real life even though it doesn’t show up in the tube. It might be a bit too expensive for just a gloss, but it’s always nice to be able to splurge on something every once in a while.
