Swatch: NARS’ Eyeshadow in Night Clubbing

I saw this eyeshadow shade being swatched and used by some girls online and I fell in love with the colour. It’s been on my wish list for some time now, and I finally got it over the weekend at Sephora. Here are some pictures!

The colour is fantabulous and actually I had a pretty hard time deciding between this eyeshadow and Urban Decay’s The Black Palette displayed just opposite it. As a comparison, this eyeshadow alone costs 24 Euros whereas The Black Palette costs 35 Euros and comes with 6 shades and an eyeshadow primer. NARS’ Night Clubbing was very, very similar to Urban Decay’s Cobra in The Black Palette, which was why I was in a dilemma. But after swatching the two shades more often than necessary (the boyfriend was very patient towards my never-ending “I don’t know what to do!”s so he deserves credit here) I decided to get Night Clubbing.

Night Clubbing is a black shade with gold shimmer in it and looks really pretty and intense on top of a primer. On the other hand, Cobra’s more glittery and less dark. So if you’re looking for something more glittery, pick Cobra. If you’d like something more intense but with some sparkles, pick Night Clubbing.

I’d actually like to get NARS’ Night Flight too. But I’ll save that for next month. =)
