Before anything, you have to cleanse and pat your face dry. After that, in the first step, you place the first mask over your nose and wait for 10 minutes. This step removes blackheads and whiteheads with its plant extracts. Then, remove it and gently remove the exposed whiteheads with a cotton swab or the Skinmiso Comedo Remover. Next, wash your nose with water and place the second mask over it. Wait for 10 minutes. In this step, your pores are contracted with witch hazel extract and the skin absorbs Greenol, which is the brand’s patented ingredient that helps to protect and moisturise the skin. Finally, remove the mask and apply the Skinmiso Pore Beauty Silky Essence over the nose to keep it shine-free.
I tried it a couple of times with and without the Pore Beauty Silky Essence and found that this step made a big difference in the results. With it, my nose remained matte but without it, my nose started turning into a lightbulb – oily, greasy and shiny – really quickly. Therefore, I recommend using all of the products in this Pore Beauty Nose Pack to obtain the maximum efficiency. After the first mask, I did notice whiteheads protruding out of my pores, which I could easily rub or wipe off with a cotton bud. The mask for the second step contains alcohol but since my nose isn’t sensitive to it, I had no problems with it. Overall, the experience was completely painless and the masks were easily taken off, as they didn’t stick to my skin, unlike pore strips.
The entire procedure took about 25 minutes. It didn’t clear all of my blackheads at once, however. I believe you’ll have to use this several times before you can see any significant result (each box comes with 10 pairs of mask and a tube of the Silky Essence). Because no squeezing was involved, my pores were not aggravated.
