The April 2013 Vanity Trove is all about ditching the wintry cold and gearing up for Spring! In this month’s trove, there is a lot of skincare from Dr.Ci:Labo and beauty giant Elizabeth Arden. Because Dr.Ci:Labo originated in Tokyo, Japan, this month’s trove came along with a cute pamphlet about skincare and Dr.Ci:Labo’s products, written entirely in Japanese, and a slip of paper with Japanese words scribbled all over it. Can anyone decode this? With my knowledge in Mandarin, I think this is something like a diary/letter about how a girl’s skin has improved after using Dr.Ci:Labo’s products.

Since a few months back, Vanity Trove has been mailing out their own magazine, Vanity Mag, along with the troves. I really like this little magazine because it’s light, small and very portable. In addition to that, the quality of the paper used is good. The articles inside are also extremely relevant in today’s fashion and beauty world and they include things like fashion spreads and makeup tutorials, instead of just shameless promotion of the items that Vanity Trove endorses.
