A couple of weeks ago or so, Shu Uemura Singapore held a contest on their Facebook page. Contestants just had to send in a creative picture of themselves with their favourite cleansing oil to participate and the most creative entry got to win a cleansing oil from Shu Uemura. I only knew of the contest on the last day and decided spontaneously to try my luck. I just took some pictures of myself with the cleansing oil that I’d recently bought and submitted one of them. I didn’t do anything creative to the picture I submitted because my laptop really is too laggy for me to do any major photoshop editing, plus anyone with a Macbook would have an easy job with PhotoBooth, which really doesn’t need anyone to be creative at all.
Here are just some of the pictures I took after a very basic makeup application, which includes my current favourite lipstick, YSL’s Rouge Volupté in Nude Beige. Also, I took these pictures just days after my wisdom teeth extraction surgery, where I removed all 4 teeth at once, and so you can see my fishball cheeks!

I didn’t win the contest – there were several winners – but it was fun overall to just put on some makeup and pose for the camera. 😉
