Sweet, fruity and… pink!
Oh my goodness, I’m so excited to share with you today on Crabtree & Evelyn‘s new Pear and Pink Magnolia Collection! I caught sight of this new range in stores when I dropped by to collect a couple of Hand Therapy tubes (new packaging, yay!). A whiff was all I needed to get hooked onto the new scent.
First up, the packaging is lovely. If you know me by now, you’ll know I cannot resist anything that’s pink in colour, especially when it’s coupled with pretty florals and anything elegant or feminine!
Secondly, the scent is sweet but not to the extent where ants and bees would want to be your friend. It’s not overwhelmingly pear, but yet not too flowery either. Juicy is the word. The fragrance is blended with lemon, jasmine, osmanthus, as well as orris, on top of the two main ingredients. Here’s the collection in a nutshell:
The eau de Toilette, S$38 (30ml) and S$75 (100ml).
The soap-free body wash, S$30 (250ml).
The body lotion, S$40 (250ml).
The light, whipped body souffle, S$48 (250g).
The Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy, S$13 (25) and S$33 (100g).
The triple milled soap, S$13 (100g).
My favourite from the entire collection is the Pear and Pink Magnolia eau de toilette! It spritzes on very lightly and provides a refreshing pick-me-up whenever needed, bringing to mind the youthful, apathetic whims of adolescence. The scent doesn’t last long though.
One thing to note is that the Hand Therapy is now in a new packaging. It’s no longer in the metal tube, but it’s now a plastic one. This means that the shape of the tube will tend to retain its original shape no matter how many items the tube bumps into while residing in your makeup pouch. I kind of prefer the previous packaging but the new one makes it easier to handle.
