I can’t wait to share this piece of news with you all, especially if you’re a die-hard Urban Decay fan, like I am! The Urban Decay 2014 Holiday Collection is bound to make you go crazy and set hearts a flutter. If you’re looking for gifts for beauty addicts, you’d really do well at Sephora this time.
First up, there’s the Shadow Box, which has got a total of 12 beautiful shades – 9 best selling ones and 3 brand new ones! It needs no new introduction from me, as beauty vlogger Nicole Guerriero already did a great job of that in her video review of the palette. But hey, the violet floral design on the cover is just gorgeous!
The next exciting product in the line-up is the Vice3 Palette. I own the Vice2 Palette (review here), which I totally love and bring with me when I travel because it’s got so many shades in it and a great big mirror to look into when applying my makeup. I can’t say I love the shocking yellow design on the palette, but all 20 shades in the Vice3 Palette are brand new!
A little description of the shades in this palette:
TRUTH – pale pink-nude matte

BROKEDOWN – metallic golden brown shimmer with gold micro-glitter

For a review of the Vice3 Palette and swatches of the colours, check out Leesha’s blog post here. You can also buy it on Nordstrom HERE. For something that’s value for money, I’d say go for this palette. There are 20 shades, a mirror and a double-ended brush and it’s only going for S$88 at Sephora. You do the math.
The next palette you’d want to take a look at is the Naked2 Basics Palette, which features 6 shades that are cooler than the ones in the original Naked Basics palette. The only Naked palette I own is the Naked3 palette (one of those with 12 shades) and from what I can tell you, the Basics are definitely for those of you who would only commonly use a few selected shades in the more comprehensive Nakeds. If you aren’t into queues, check out the palette on Nordstrom HERE.
A short description of the 6 shades in this palette:
SKIMP – pale nude satin
STARK – nude-pink matte
FRISK – warm gray matte
COVER – muted red-brown matte
PRIMAL – muted brown matte
UNDONE – deep, smoky brown matte
While we’re on the topic of the Naked and the Basics, how about some glow to go with your neutral look? The Naked Illuminated Shimmering Body Powder for Face and Body can also be found at Sephora and it comes in two shades – Luminous and Aura. Yep, Luminous is no longer an online-exlcusive shade!
Last but not least, grab that eyeliner to complete your look. Black isn’t just black with the Black Magic 24-7 Glide-On Double-Ended Eye Pencil Set. This set contains 8 shades of the brand’s classic eyeliners – my favourite crayon liners ever!
And again, a description of the shades (each pair on an individual double-ended pencil):
ZERO + DEMOLITION – zealous black cream + deep brown matte
BLACK VELVET + SMOKE – rich, smoky black matte + deepest gray matte
BLACK MARKET + TORNADO – charcoal black satin + dark eggplant pearl
PERVERSION + LSD – blackest black matte + navy shimmer with bright turquoise micro-sparkle
Are you hyperventilating now? I am – on the inside. I can’t wait till the collection launches in Sephora on 30th October!
What about you? What will you get?
