The holidays are nearing! Here’s a quick holiday outfit idea for you, featuring my new favourite haul – the gorgeous tulle skirt from Tutu le Petite! I first saw this piece on their Instagram page and just thought I had to have it. So added it to my cart I did and a few days later, it was delivered to my door. The skirt is expensive, costing more than S$100, but the material and pouffiness is fantastic and so, so dreamy. I feel like a million dollars wearing it and I’m sure you will too. I paired it with a cropped white top from Headline Seoul, and the two together make for a festive party attire. Add in a pair of glitter heels (it’s the holidays, after all), a gold clutch to amp up the glam factor and classic ear studs, and you’re ready to go!
A little tip on getting a tulle from Tutu le Petite: Their sizes are exact, and if you find that you’re an in-between, get the larger size so that you can breathe and enjoy Christmas dinner. I’m around 67-68cm, depending on whether I’ve eaten or not, and the size I got is S (70cm). It’s always better to get a size larger, as you can always get it altered to fit you better, instead of getting one that fits too snugly and you won’t be able to wear after a while. I didn’t have to alter mine. They also ship internationally, so hooray to that!
Those pumps? Too gorgeous to resist. I saw them while window shopping one day and they just connected with me in the way that Timon and Pumba were meant for each other. The store at Wisma Atria (Singapore) didn’t have them in my size, so the very thoughtful salesgirl went to a nearby outlet to bring them in for me. I love it when service personnel put in extra effort to make their customer’s day!
A gold clutch is always a good idea to create elegance in any outfit, and it’s my go-to for evening functions. If the Saint Laurent Paris Classic Monogrammed Clutch is out of your budget, here are some that are more affordable but also look as classy:

I had forgotten my eyebrow shadow and brush for this shoot (Can you believe it?) and used shades from the Urban Decay Naked3 Palette, drawn on with my Sigma Smudge E21 Brush instead! What a relief it turned out well. My holiday makeup is something quite simple, sparkly and yet smokey enough for night time. I used Laneige‘s Eyeshadow Duo from the Sparkling Party Collection together with shades from Urban Decay’s Naked3 Palette to create the 3D effect. The gold sparkle in the middle of the eyelids is a great way to light up the eyes and brighten up your entire face. The lip colour is my current favourite, Chanel‘s Bagatelle 161. Finally, top everything off with a light dusting of Guerlain‘s Météorites and you’re good to go!
Stay classy,
Roxanne
