Happy Valentine’s Day! Everything’s going very well over here in the hood. Mr. Ratatouille’s finally back after being stuck overseas for work for weeks, I’ve got new clothes to wear, I’ve got new makeup to try, the weather is perfect and I’m healthy! What a great way to celebrate Valentine’s Day, which falls on a Saturday this year.
I’m sharing with you some recipes I found online, which would make a very romantic dinner for tonight. If you haven’t found something you would like to make, try one of these!
1. Garlic Girl shares her easy recipe for some Smoky and Spicy Corn & Potato Chowder.
2. Sally at Sally’s Baking Addiction tells us just how easy it is to create Chocolate Covered Pretzels (you don’t even need to make the pretzels).
3. This isn’t a recipe but the Rosé Impérial from Moët & Chandon makes for a great lovey dovey “we” time.
4. The peeps at The Meat House Blog share this recipe for Baked Cod with Fennel and Shallots.
And if you’re feeling adventurous enough, I also found this Mini Roasted Tomato, Arugula and Feta Cheese Quiche recipe on Garlic Girl. Have fun and enjoy today with your loved one.
You’re loved,
Roxanne
